We started Kokopelli Llamas in 1997 with the plan of raising classic light wooled llamas. Although we now have a few medium and heavy wooled llamas, we still emphasize the classic llama. We enjoy packing with our llamas, and most of our males are trained packers. While living in New Mexico operated a commercial packing company. Since moving to west Virginia we no longer pack commercially, however. We are currently placing many of our llamas in alpaca farms as guardians.
