Meet Lucero!

Lucero means Morning Star in Spanish and that was the first thing we noticed on his forehead at his birth -- That and those long legs and neck.

Lucero is one of our Mocha kids and sister to Latte and Miriah. He is the son of Chiazo, a Tuna Catcher son. He has that same level temperament and easy going nature as the rest of his maternal family.

He is tall and stretchy, a cooperative breeder, and is also an excellent guard. He is at the top in the hierarchy of the boy pasture.

Check out his herdsire profile to see his 2 crias for 2014 - The Samoan and Splash Magic. You will love them as much as we do. He is blending nicely with our females and produced both suri and appaloosa.

Lucero is a amiable llama and would love to have you visit. Come check him out for yourself for breeding or purchase.

Miriah's Maderian Mocha

Medium Brown, 197849, Breeding

Mocha arrived with a cria on board and her 10 month old daughter Miriah in tow from the wonderful folks at McFarland's Llama Farm in Ohio. These were our first two animals on the farm.

She was the perfect animal to learn llamas with. She challenged us at first but we eventually won each other over.

Mocha is our foundation female. She is a wonderful producer and an easy birther. She seems to reproduce herself with some notible exceptions. Mocha's babies are all tall and stretchy!

Mocha is now retired from breeding and will live out her life with us here at Aurora.

Thanks Mocha!
